Thursday evening we started out by heading to O'Niels - a pub we've been to a few time before - to bid our first goodbye! One of the other American's, Caroline's, family had been in town for the week and on Friday they all left to go back to the States. It was strange already having to say goodbye to someone! After O'Neils we headed to the DBS Study Abroad Goodbye Party. It was at a pub called "Whelans," where part of the movie P.S. I Love You was filmed.

Friday night was 100% uneventful. A majority of the group was out of town or preparing to leave town the next morning.
Saturday morning I headed to the Temple Bar Food Market - yumm. Wherever I end up living this summer, I am definitely going to need to search for Saturday morning farmers markets. The food market is one of the things I am going to miss the most!
SCONES! a raspberry & a blueberry. scones are my latest weakness - if anyone knows where in Iowa makes delicious scones, please let me know.
i ate the blueberry yesterday for breakfast and am currently eating the raspberry. so. good.
assorted cheeses
Of course I got lunch while I was there! I opted for a huge hot dog with ketchup and onions, only it tasted like graziano sausage, so it was really good! I don't have a picture of it because, well, I scarfed that down on my walk home :). Eating while walking places is pretty normal here. I've often seen adults walking and eating a small bag of chips or a candy bar, which is something not often seen back home.
Saturday evening a few of us went out for a little bit, but the pictures are on someone else's camera and haven't been uploaded to Facebook yet (in which case I would then save them to my computer - technology is so helpful)!
Yesterday some of us watched a few movies together - I think we're all going to be attached at the hip this week and in search of something fun to do every night, as it is unfortunately our last full week in Dublin all together. I can still hardly believe how fast this semester has gone by!
As for today, The Human Body Exhibition is showing in Dublin, I think some of us may try and go! The rest of this week will include last minute errands and bonding!
Have a great week all.
