One-Month

Exactly one month from yesterday marks the day I arrive back home sweet home to Iowa. I can hardly believe it is already almost time to start packing up!

It feels like just yesterday I was writing my blog entry, "Dublin and I's One Month Anniversary." I was still just getting used to my walk to class and the supermarket, adjusting to living in a new city and apartment, and getting to know my new friends. The past (almost) four months have seemed so short, but looking back at everything I have seen and learned, it is hard to believe that all happened in such a short amount of time.

I have become much more independent - if I need something or just want to do something - I am a-okay to do it alone. I will be okay wherever I go - and I can go with confidence. And as expected - I love living in the city. Everything I want to do is only a 25 minute walk away, which I am going to miss so much.

The next few weeks will be spent hanging out with my American friends before we all head out in different directions - to our homes in different states in the U.S., and to new travels in different countries throughout Europe.

My two week adventure begins April 23rd! I will be going to visit my sorority sister Gretchen in England, and from there I will be going to visit four different, major, European cities. Is this real life!? A few days ago I booked all my flights, I can hardly believe it or wait to see the gorgeous places I will be seeing and experiencing! Unfortunately for you all (unless you cheat and talk with my parents) I think I am going to keep the cities a secret until I blog about them upon my return. It will be like a game of Carmen Sandiego - "Where in the World is Elodie Opstad?" Hmm... maybe I'll post some hints for each city... this could be fun :).

It is partly sunny in Dublin today. I need to finish my paper so I can go out and enjoy the weather and my city!
