1. I keep up the great work and blog weekly
2. Every time you look back to check you see this entry (embarrassing)
I'm going to try my hardest, I promise! And who knows...maybe I'll even keep it after I return home from my adventures.
Time to play catch-up. I will try and keep everything from the last month short and sweet, and possibly break it up into a few blog posts. Here goes nothing!
January 5: Arrive in Dublin, Ireland
My first meal at O'Shea's Pub - fish and chips and my first Guinness
(it's become an acquired taste - when in Rome!)
January 8: Visit to the fishing village, Howth
adorable
beautiful scenery on our cliff walk
January 12: Spontaneous trip to Wicklow with new friends
part of a castle ruin
January 16: National Botanical Gardens of Ireland
this day was quite the adventure for us! we broke my camera and missed our bus home not once, not twice, but three times...we laughed the whole way :]
January 17: Spontaneous trip to Bray with friends
the beach was all rocks - there were a few less after i left :]
January 20: Kilmainham Gaol (Jail)

inscription
in jail! no worries - they let us out on good behavior
January 21-22: Cork City
6am wake up call to get on our four hour bus ride to Cork. It was a short, enjoyable trip with Hannah and Katie.
our first hostel experience

the Blarney Castle!
Hannah & I in a cave under the castle
Katie & I making our way up to kiss the Blarney stone!
at the top! the man in the red holds you as you lie down and bend back to kiss the stone - we couldn't get pictures, but we each did it. we have now received the gift of eloquence
the three of us - the grounds were beautiful
