My flight across the pond was easy peasy. Long, but that was expected. I watched four movies! I landed in Newark, NJ and instead of having a 7 hour layover, I had a 9 HOUR LAYOVER. The last few hours felt like cruel and unusual punishment, particularly because they were unexpected. My flight from Newark to Des Moines got delayed. Knowing I was so close but so far away, and that my friends and parents were all in Des Moines made it even worse. I finally arrived around 10:15pm and came down the escalator to a fabulous surprise... 13 friends, my parents, and my boyfriend's dad all there waiting to greet me! I thought it was just (well, not just, I was still just as excited) going to be my parents, Sean, and three friends... I was crying and shaking with excitement when I saw everyone.
I missed everyone so much, coming home to all of these people was amazing. I felt so incredibly loved and missed. I am such a lucky girl.

I sure have some special people in my life. I can't stop smiling looking at these pictures! Thought I'd update you all of my homecoming... posts of my final Euro trip will be up in no time, Madrid will be posted SOON, like today or tomorrow.
